Casper: The Sleep Channel
My roles: Director / Creative Director / Editor
A two-season, multi-platform narrative experience with the goal of lulling you, the listener, into a deep and beautiful sleep. Hosted by "June the Moon," each episode features a bespoke sleepy story, soothing sound design, and sprinkles of off-beat humor. I wrote, directed, and edited 15 unique episodes.
My personal favorites: CALMING CLOCKS, in which our narrator contemplates the concept of time; and SLUMBERY SOJOURN, a reading of the fictional kid’s book, 'Slumber Jack & The Great Quest for Rest,' in which a sleep-deprived lumberjack ventures into the forest to seek advice from woodland creatures.
Truly Boring Fairy Tales
This episode, in which I rewrote famous fairy tales with a droll, comedic twist, received 1.7 million organic views — plus several comments calling on me to receive a pay raise (that unfortunately didn’t happen).
Internet, Meet June
